Killing some time before class on Marina del Rey’s coastline. That’s what Carrie Gutenberg was doing when she shot this image with her iPhone4.
A screenwriting graduate student at Loyola Marymount University, Gutenberg says she tries to “capture those moments” when she can because the best story ideas often come to her “any time, anywhere.”
“There is something so eerily romantic about the ocean,” Gutenberg adds. “It inspires me to write about love in its many forms.”
