Earthquake: 3.2 quake strikes near Soledad, Calif.

A shallow magnitude 3.2 earthquake was reported Thursday evening 13 miles from Soledad, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 9:07 p.m. Pacific time at a depth of 1.9 miles.

According to the USGS, the epicenter was 17 miles from Greenfield, Calif., 22 miles from Hollister, Calif., 24 miles from King City, Calif., and 139 miles from Sacramento.

In the last 10 days, there has been one earthquake magnitude 3.0 and greater centered nearby.
