Cat paralyzed after being shot with pellet gun
A cat in Northern California was left paralyzed after someone shot it with a pellet gun.
The incident occurred earlier this month in the town of Woodland, according to Yolo County Animal Services.
A resident told authorities one of the resident’s cats had been shot.
Annie, an orange tabby, was found on the front porch. She couldn’t use her back legs, and a small bloody wound was found on her shoulder, according to Fox 40.
She was taken to the UC Davis Small Animal Clinic, where a pellet-sized bullet was found lodged next to the cat’s spine.
The incident is under investigation as an act of animal cruelty.
Anyone with information about any possible suspects is asked to call the Yolo County Sheriff’s Office at (530) 668-5287.
