Chula Vista police hunt vandals who damaged 100 cars

Police in Chula Vista are hunting for the persons responsible for damaging the windows on more than 100 cars in a four-day rampage and possibly shooting a man with an air gun.

The car windows were shattered or cracked. Police are reviewing surveillance tape from the western area of the city, where the vandalism occured.

The same vandals are suspected of shooting a man with a BB ¿or pellet as they drove by, possibly in an older model GMC Safari or Astro Van. The attack occured shortly after midnight Friday.
