Reader photo: The old zoo
When a friend visiting from Santa Cruz asked Candice Montgomery for ideas on where to find some interesting shots, she suggested a trip to the Old Los Angeles Zoo in Griffith Park.
The front of abandoned enclosures are decorated for the Halloween hay ride at the park, she said, but “you turn the corner, and this is what you see ...” She shot this photo of graffitied walls Monday with a Canon EOS 40D.
