Tim Pawlenty is out, but his disclosures are in

Fomer Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty is now off the presidential campaign trail, following a lackluster showing in last weekend’s Ames straw poll.

But if he wants to hit the road again, he can fall back on the fruitful paid speaking circuit.

Pawlenty made more than $250,000 from speaking engagements this year, according to his personal financial disclosure report released today by the Federal Election Commission.

He also made $342,000 in royalty payments for his book, “Courage to Stand,” which was published last January.

In all, Pawlenty reported an income of $714,635 from Jan. 1, 2010 until Aug. 1 of this year, including his $121,260 salary from the Minnesota governor’s office for the final year of his term.

He reported between $471,051 and $1,590,000 in assets, and does not list any liabilities.
