Heightened Expectations

Leave it to the tallest structure in Vegas to keep reaching for the sky.

Operators of the Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower weren’t satisfied with the property’s status as a famous Vegas icon. Instead, they’re aiming even higher with a renovation project so lofty it even has a name: Stratosphere Select.

Take a complete remodeling of more than 900 guest rooms, accessible through fresh new elevator lobbies and hallways, throw in new king and queen beds chosen to rival those of any resort in town, toss in quality flat-screen TVs, and you have a makeover that’s all about comfort, Stratosphere reps say.

The colors, textures and details have been layered to make guest comfort as pleasing to the eye as it is to the touch. Designed to maximize rest and relaxation, the rooms offer views of either downtown Las Vegas, the Strip or the surrounding Las Vegas Valley.

Day or night, the excitement of Las Vegas is just a few steps away. Of course, you may not want to go even that far. The Stratosphere’s 80,000-square-foot casino offers thousands of state-of-the-art gaming options, including games you won’t find at other Las Vegas Strip casinos, alongside everyone’s favorite table games, a poker room and a race and sportsbook. Guests who sign up for the ace|PLAY™ card earn awards, comps and exclusives immediately — and on every return visit.

The dining establishments at Stratosphere upped their game, too. Roxy’s Diner, a longtime guest favorite, has been expanded to include a new menu and patio seating. As always, the singing wait staff entertain during breakfast, lunch and dinner. For more elegant dining, the award-winning Top of the World on Level 106 of the Stratosphere Tower is the only revolving dining experience in Las Vegas. It offers an extraordinary menu and a 360-degree view of the Strip and the surrounding Las Vegas Valley.

But the Tower isn’t just for the hungry. Indoor and outdoor observation decks with views of the Strip, downtown and the surrounding valley, offer ample opportunity to see the sights, take pictures and look down on the excitement of a city unlike any other in the world. It’s also the perfect place to grab a drink and listen to music at Level 107 lounge or Air Bar, the highest bar in Vegas.

This Tower is where the Stratosphere’s transformation really started. SkyJump Las Vegas, a recent addition that captured attention from around the world, provides the ultimate free fall, and does it from the 108th floor of the Stratosphere Tower, 855 feet above the Strip.

For folks who like their thrills a little closer to the ground, the “American Superstars™” tribute show has added takes on Lady Gaga and Charlie Daniels to a lineup that includes tributes to Carrie Underwood, Michael Jackson and Elvis. Along with “BITE®,” the rock ’n’ roll vampire revue, Stratosphere’s entertainment offerings include something for everyone.

The changes at Stratosphere also include a more convenient valet parking location on Las Vegas Boulevard. A new entrance to the casino will feature a sweeping indoor ramp with a contemporary design to carry guests to the hotel lobby and the VIP check-in area in style.

And more changes are in store on the casino floor, including new colors, carpet and directional signs.
Stratosphere Select and the other changes at the famed destination all aim to provide a combination of comfort, gaming, dining, nightlife, entertainment and thrills that continue to set Stratosphere apart on the Las Vegas landscape, offering an unexpected opportunity to elevate your expectations of an old Vegas friend.
