Eight people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries when their SUV rolled over in Huntington Beach about 8 p.m. Thursday, according to authorities.
Six children and an adult couple were in the vehicle when the driver lost control and the SUV overturned near the intersection of Adams Avenue and Estuary Lane, according to fire and police officials.
The vehicle, however, came back on its wheels, and it appeared everyone was wearing seatbelts, Huntington Beach police Lt. John Domingo said.
All eight people inside were taken to a hospital and their injuries appeared to be minor, according to Huntington Beach Fire Department Battalion Chief Jeff Lopez.
No other vehicle was involved in the crash, and police said alcohol did not appear to be a factor.
