Fantasy football: Week 8 pickups

Have you had your “oh-no!” moment yet? The one where you wake up in cold sweats because you have five guys on a bye, two more out for the season and no roster spot to even pick up a kicker? This looks like it could be one of those weeks, as the RB pool has slimmed considerably, all the good QBs were picked up last week, and we still have all these damn byes to deal with.

Sometimes you just gotta get through the week. Remember, one week isn’t the world. And also remember everyone is going through the same roster struggles you are. So take a deep breath, put some smooth jazz on the hi-fi, some warm milk on the stove and repeat after me: “Beanie Wells is only out a week.
