Fantasy football: Week 3 pickups

Uh-oh, here comes the pain. After a relatively quiet preseason and opening week, the injury bug reared its ugly head on the fantasy world over the weekend. Jamaal Charles and Jordan Shipley: Out for the year with ACLs. Tony Romo and Michael Vick: ribs and head injuries leave them questionable this week. Many others -- Miles Austin, Brandon Lloyd, Knowshon Moreno, Steven Jackson, Mario Manningham and Aaron Hernandez, to name a few -- were either inactive or banged up and their futures are up in the air.

If you have any of these guys, it’s time to get to work finding replacements. And if you were fortunate enough to have everyone healthy, just remember, your time will come. Here are my top pickups for Week 3: -- Matthew Wood
