Blake Griffin appears in dunk contest commercial with Marvin the Martian

Blake Griffin may have met his match in a dunking contest.
The Clippers’ superstar power forward appeared in a Nike Jordan commercial in which he is playing basketball on the outdoor courts at Venice Beach when all of the sudden Marvin the Martian appears.
“Blake Griffin, earth-shattering is my job, not yours,” the Martian says. “Prepare to be disintegrated.”
Griffin’s friend then persuades the Martian to agree to a contest before eliminating the NBA player, citing “cartoon rules.” The Martian agrees but asks if he can use his own ball.
“Yeah, you’re the one with a laser,” Griffin says.
Griffin thinks he has the contest in the bag, describing the Martian as “3-feet tall.” But the Martian’s arms extend really far and he is powered by rocket-ship speed.
“I can’t compete with that,” Griffin says. “I’m just a super-talented human.”
Griffin then puts on a pair of Jordan Super.Fly sneakers and attempts a dunk from the opposite foul line. He jumps so high that he leaves the Earth’s atmosphere and lands on the moon before jamming the ball.
Winner: Griffin.
