After the Clippers’ 113-71 loss to the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday in Shanghai, Chris Paul used the interview podium to deliver a special message to Lamar Odom.

“I wanted to extend love and support to one of our NBA brothers, Lamar Odom,” Paul said. “We love you, man. Keep fighting. He’s a member of this fraternity, our basketball brotherhood, and we love you and we’re all there for you, man.”

Odom was hospitalized Tuesday after being found unconscious at the Love Ranch brothel in Crystal, Nev., about 70 miles from Las Vegas.

Odom started his career with the Clippers and played for the Lakers for seven seasons, helping them win the NBA championship in 2009 and 2010. Odom was named Sixth Man of the Year in 2011.

Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant and General Manager Mitch Kupchak reportedly visited Odom in the hospital.

Odom allegedly has struggled with substance abuse and was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in 2013.
