The Dallas Morning News had a picture of DeAndre Jordan with devil horns in Wednesday’s edition that fans can cut out and wear to the night’s game between the Clippers and the Mavericks.

Jordan, who was a free agent over the summer, gave the Mavericks a verbal commitment to join their team. Then, in a move that’s greatly frowned upon by the league, he backed out of his word so he could re-join the Clippers.

The Clippers’ center will play on the Mavericks’ home court for the first time this season at 5 p.m. PST, and even hours before tipoff, the insults are flying.

The Mavericks’ official Twitter account took a shot at the Clippers on Wednesday, posting a photo of a chair blocking a door that Blake Griffin had tweeted out in July when he and some of his teammates went to Jordan’s home in Houston in an attempt to convince Jordan to return to the Clippers. The photo was Griffin’s way of joking that the Clippers had held Jordan hostage, something that was erroneously circulating on social media.

Along with that photo, the Mavericks wrote a snarky message:

Mavericks’ owner Mark Cuban told reporters Tuesday that he saved all of Jordan’s texts before the center went radio silent after having a change of heart.

Cuban said he last heard from Jordan at 11:56 p.m. on July 7, when Jordan told Cuban he couldn’t talk with him because he was out on a date. We later learned that Jordan’s date that evening was Griffin.

“Someday I’ll let you read all the texts,” Cuban told reporters. “And we’ll get into it and we’ll talk about it, but now is not the right time.”
