The Clippers are one game into an eight-game road trip after beating the Utah Jazz on Wednesday, 94-89.

How they play on the road in the final half of the season is going to determine much for them. They play 22 of their last 36 games away from Staples Center. Up until now, they’ve played 27 home games and 19 away games.

The good news for the Clippers is that their statistics don’t drop off much when they are on the road.

From the field, they’re shooting 47.6% at home, 47.3% on the road. From beyond the three-point line, they’re shooting 38.4% at home, 38.1% on the road. And they’re averaging 42.5 rebounds at home, 39.4 on the road.

The Clippers have won six games in a row and are in fourth-place in the competitive Western Conference with a record of 32-14 (20-7 home, 12-7 away).

On this trip, they play at New Orleans on Friday, at San Antonio on Saturday, at Brooklyn on Monday, at Cleveland on Feb. 5, at Toronto on Feb. 6, at Oklahoma on Feb. 8 and at Dallas on Feb. 9.
