Brandon Bass and the Clippers agree to a one-year deal

Brandon Bass has agreed to a one-year deal with the Clippers for the veteran’s minimum of $1.55 million, The Times has confirmed.

Bass played for Clippers Coach Doc Rivers for two seasons when they both were in Boston.

Bass, a 6-8 power forward, played for the Lakers last season and averaged 7.2 points and 4.3 rebounds.

He has averages of 8.9 points and 4.7 rebounds over his 11-year career.
