HARTFORD, CT-08/22/19GALLERY Jay Williams, of West Hartford, Hartford Foundation president thanks those that came out and all the volunteers at the even. A smallish but dedicated group of people turned came out to check out and play in Dillon Stadium in Hartford Thursday afternoon. The event started at 4 but by 4:45 the sky was looking pretty dark and a little after 5 the clouds opened up and the rain poured down on the event. The rain chased the kids and adults from the field but after a bit some couldn?t be deterred from playing on the new green surface.
