Update: Adding an extra element to this game is a bit of Northern California history. Kings GM Dean Lombardi and new Kings Coach Darryl Sutter worked together in San Jose for five-plus years. In fact, Lombardi fired Sutter on Dec. 1 in the 2002-03 season. The Sharks’ Martin Havlat had surgery Wednesday for a partially torn tendon in his left hamstring and could be out six to eight weeks.
