When: 1 p.m.
Where: Staples Center.
On the air: TV: FS West; Radio: 1150.
Records: Kings 36-24-4, Canucks 40-16-9.
Record vs. Canucks: 2-0-0.
Update: The Kings have won four of their last five games, putting them back in the heart of the top eight in a very tight Western Conference race. Coach Terry Murray in Friday’s practice moved Justin Williams to the top line and Wayne Simmonds to the second line. The speed of Williams could generate more offense by linemates Dustin Penner and Anze Kopitar. Defenseman Willie Mitchell, who took a puck to the face in Thursday night’s game, did practice. Vancouver’s 89 points are the most in the NHL, and Daniel and Henrik Sedin are among the league leaders in points.
