College football predictions: Who will win this weekend?

&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Our freewheeling Google+ Hangout on &amp;lt;runtime:topic id=”ORSPT000000294”&amp;gt;UCLA&amp;lt;/runtime:topic&amp;gt;, &amp;lt;runtime:topic id=”ORSPT000001132”&amp;gt;USC&amp;lt;/runtime:topic&amp;gt; and college football in general is over, and a variety of subjects were covered by reporters Gary Klein (USC), Chris Foster (UCLA) and Chris Dufresne (college football).&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Subjects included:&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;strong&amp;gt;What will happen in tonight’s game?&amp;lt;/strong&amp;gt; Klein says USC needs to establish its running game. &amp;lt;runtime:topic id=”ORSPT000016137”&amp;gt;Utah&amp;lt;/runtime:topic&amp;gt; has been looking forward to this game ever since it joined the Pac-12 and people in Salt Lake City are going crazy. But the Trojans should be able to win.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;strong&amp;gt;What’s up with Jordan Zumwalt? &amp;lt;/strong&amp;gt;The UCLA linebacker needed 150 stitches in his head after his accident the other day. Foster says Zumwalt probably won’t play much against &amp;lt;runtime:topic id=”ORSPT00000145”&amp;gt;Cal&amp;lt;/runtime:topic&amp;gt; this weekend because wearing a helmet irritates the wound. If the Bruins are playing well without Zumwalt, they probably won’t play him much; but if they are struggling, expect to see Zumwalt play more.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;strong&amp;gt;Will UCLA beat Cal? &amp;lt;/strong&amp;gt;This is a dangerous game for the Bruins. Cal is a good 1-3 team and the Bruins will have their hands full.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Predictions for the week:&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;strong&amp;gt;LSU at Florida &amp;lt;/strong&amp;gt;-- Dufresne points out this is a critical game for LSU, which has looked bad in its last two games. If Florida wins, it becomes a national title contender.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;strong&amp;gt;Georgia at South Carolina&amp;lt;/strong&amp;gt; -- Both teams struggled last week, but South Carolina has the edge.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;strong&amp;gt;West Virginia at Texas&amp;lt;/strong&amp;gt; -- This is a true litmus test for West Virginia.
