MIAMI AT BROOKLYN: Wednesday at 5 p.m. PST. TV: ESPN.

The way this season has gone, maybe Brooklyn should keep switching coaches every 15 games. Interim Coach P.J. Carlesimo won 12 of his first 15 games, topping even the early success of predecessor Avery Johnson, who went 11-4 before a steep descent cost him his job. Carlesimo has won the approval of noted malcontent Deron Williams while receiving steady production from a healthy Brook Lopez. Meanwhile, Miami is back on the upswing after returning from a six-game trip in which the Heat shrugged off the fourth-quarter benching of Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh to start a four-game winning streak.
