NBA looking ahead: Miami at Chicago, Wednesday night
MIAMI AT CHICAGO, Wednesday, 5 p.m. PDT. TV: ESPN.
Maybe divine intervention could end the second-longest winning streak in NBA history. Chicago point guard Derrick Rose, who said this week that “nobody knows but God” when he will return from a torn knee ligament, would certainly heighten the drama if he decided to make his season debut against Miami. The Heat will presumably take a 27-game winning streak into the United Center considering its next two games are against Charlotte and Orlando, teams with the worst records in the NBA.
