At least Lakers fans had one entertaining moment Tuesday evening.

While their team was being routed by the San Antonio Spurs, Justin Bieber’s face was featured on the kiss-cam.

The perfectly coiffed 18-year-old probably elicited far more screams than a win would have anyway.

Bieber, a faithful supporter of the team, told The Times that he remained optimistic about their chances to go far in the playoffs.

“Hopefully they go all the way,” Bieber said. “The Lakers are my favorite team, obviously, so hopefully they pull through it and win it.”

Who knows, the Bieber touch may be even more powerful than Oprah’s.

In all seriousness, it was a hard night for Bieber.

Girlfriend Selena Gomez, seated next to him courtside, was cheering for the Spurs. His favorite player, Kobe Bryant, was sidelined with a shin injury. And his team ended up losing, 112-91.

At least Bieber had some recent happy memories surrounding the Lakers. Bryant made a cameo in his movie, “Never Say Never.”

What was it like to hang out with the Lakers superstar?

“He’s a really good guy,” Bieber said. “Great family man and he’s really good with his kids.”
