X-ray negative after Lorenzo Cain leaves Royals-White Sox game with bruised knee

CHICAGO _ An X-ray on Royals center fielder Lorenzo Cain’s right knee came back negative after he exited Wednesday night’s game when the ball struck him after he fouled off a pitch. He was diagnosed with a bruised knee.tmpplchld Cain left after his at-bat in the seventh inning of a 5-3 victory over the White Sox in 10 innings.tmpplchld “It hurts,” Cain said afterward. “It’s sore. It’s sore right now.
