Giovani dos Santos and Gyasi Zardes scored and the Galaxy tied the Chicago Fire, 2-2, on Wednesday night.

Dos Santos tied it in the 69th minute. Sebastian Lletget dumped it to Alan Gordon on the right side of the box. Gordon fed it to dos Santos, who chipped it in high with the outside of his left foot.

Zardes put the Galaxy (9-4-12) in front in the 31st minute, blasting a failed clearance into the net from the top of the spot.

Chicago (5-11-8) scored twice in the next eight minutes to take a 2-1 lead. Arturo Alvarez put away the rebound of a header by Michael de Leeuw in the 34th, and David Accam converted a penalty kick in the 39th.

The Fire — tied with Columbus with an MLS-low 23 points — are unbeaten in their last three matches.

The Galaxy have one loss in their last 11 MLS games.
