GALAXY TONIGHT

vs. Colorado

When: 8.

Where: Home Depot Center.

On the air: TV: Univision Deportes, KDOC; Radio: 1150, 1220.

Records: Galaxy 13-11-4, Rapids 9-17-2.

Record vs. Rapids: 1-0-0 .

Update: The Galaxy will have captain Landon Donovan back for the first time in a month, and the team also expects Swedish forward Christian Wilhelmsson to make his Major League Soccer debut alongside Donovan. That could help make up for the absence of midfielder David Beckham, who is listed as questionable because of an ankle sprain. That could be a big loss since Beckham has scored a career-high seven goals this season. Lately, however, the Galaxy has been winning with defense, going 7-1-2 in its last 10 games and giving up only one goal in its last four games. L.A. has pulled to within four points of second place in the Western Conference with six games to play. Colorado is barely hanging on in the MLS playoff race after losing nine of its last 12 games.
