Poll: Who’d be the ultimate winner among the 2015-16 Warriors, 1995-96 Bulls and 1971-72 Lakers?

The Golden State Warriors are on the brink of NBA history. A win Wednesday night against Memphis will give Coach Steve Kerr's team the all-time record for most victories in a season, 73.

Right now, the Warriors are tied in that category with the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls. With 72 victories each, the two squads are the only NBA teams to win 70.

The 1971-72 Lakers came close by winning 69 games, which stood as the league record for 24 years before the Bulls broke it in 1996 (Chicago would also tie the 69-win mark the following season).

Since each of those three teams played in different eras, it's impossible to know which team would come out on top if they were able to play head to head.

Right now, it's pretty tough to pick against Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and the Warriors. But back in the '90s, the same could be said about Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and the Bulls. Ditto Wilt Chamberlain, Jerry West and the Lakers in the '70s.

Pippen recently declared that those Bulls would sweep these Warriors in a seven-game series.

But that's just his opinion, and it didn't take the Lakers into account either (although that might not have made any difference as far as Pippen is concerned).

Which of those three teams do you think would end up on top if they played each other? You can imagine any format you like -- some sort of round-robin tournament, a regular bracket that includes those three teams and others -- whatever it takes for you to come up with an ultimate winner.

You figure it out, then let us know who comes out on top.
