USC football: Cornerbacks need consistency, Lane Kiffin says
USC’s cornerbacks were a question mark when the Trojans began training camp.
They remain so with the Aug. 29 opener at Hawaii approaching.
Sophomore Kevon Seymour and junior Anthony Brown appear to be leading candidates to start, but Coach Lane Kiffin indicated the position group is not settled.
Senior Torin Harris and others have been sidelined because of injuries.
“They’ve flashed,” Kiffin said of the cornerbacks, “but we need more consistency there.
“And not just with the play, but in being healthy.”
