On Thursday, they picked up their first road win in a non-neutral-site game this season by weathering a late run to beat Stanford, 69-67. Inconsistent backcourt play has plagued the Bruins this season, but their three guards combined for 56 points against the Cardinal, and Norman Powell has scored 20 or more in four consecutive games. California had been mired in a losing streak but has now won its last three games. The Bears beat USC on a buzzer-beating three-pointer Thursday.
