Update: USC (19-10, 8-8 Pac-12 Conference) has won only two of seven games without its backup forward, Darion Clark, who separated his shoulder nearly a month ago. Clark averages less than 12 minutes a game but collects an average of 4.8 rebounds. Clark practiced this week and is listed as day to day. It is just in time: USC has lost five of its last six games and has slid toward the NCAA tournament bubble. It lost its last two games in the Bay Area by 44 points. The Beavers (17-10, 8-8) beat USC, 85-70, in the teams’ first meeting. Gary Payton II leads the team in scoring at 15.8 points a game.
