Leonard Williams selected to CBSSports.com All-America team

Preseason recognition continues to roll in for USC defensive lineman Leonard Williams.

The junior was selected to the CBSsports.com All-America team.

The 6-foot-5, 300-pound Williams was also on the SI.com All-America team and others.

Williams had 13 1/2 tackles for losses last season, including six sacks. He played at a high level despite a right shoulder injury that required off-season surgery.

Williams also suffered a left shoulder injury during training camp and was held out of drills for several days.

But he returned to full participation a few days ago and appears on his way to being ready for the Aug. 30 season opener against Fresno State.
