Preview: USC vs. No. 3 Utah

USC’s future coach could be standing on the opponent’s sideline Saturday when the Trojans play host to third-ranked Utah in the Coliseum.

Utes Coach Kyle Whittingham has been mentioned as a possible candidate for the USC vacancy.

Clay Helton will make his Coliseum debut as USC’s interim coach.

USC is 3-3 overall, 1-2 in the Pac-12 Conference, and was defeated, 41-31, last week by Notre Dame.

Utah is undefeated and coming off a 34-18 victory over Arizona State.

The Trojans defeated Utah for three consecutive seasons before the Utes upset USC in the final seconds last season in Salt Lake City.
