Recruiting update: Coaches continue in-home visits

Share

USC coaches continue to make in-home visits with recruits during the contact period.

Cedar Hill (Texas) High running back Aca'Cedric Ware hosted linebackers coach Peter Sirmon on Tuesday.

"It went great -- the last time I saw him was on my official visit," said Ware, whose only official visit was to USC on Sept. 26.

Ware said he did not think he would take any other visits. He committed to USC in July.

Defensive coordinator Justin Wilcox visited Fresno North defensive lineman Jacob Daniel on Tuesday and Pleasanton Foothill defensive back Isaiah Langley on Wednesday.

Daniel and Langley have both committed to USC.

Three assistants -- offensive coordinator Clay Helton, receivers coach Tee Martin and Sirmon -- made an in-home visit with Scottsdale (Ariz.) Saguaro receiver Christian Kirk on Wednesday.

"4 hours of in and out the door in home visits," Kirk tweeted. "Been a long day, thank you [to] the Auburn, SC and ASU coaches for coming by."

Kirk is a top target and will take an official visit to USC this weekend.
