Seniors get traditional send-off after last practice on campus

USC seniors went through the Trojans’ traditional send-off Wednesday, running a gantlet of teammates as they exited from Howard Jones-Brian Kennedy Field.

The tradition plays out at the end of the last practice on campus. The Trojans are off for three days before resuming workouts in San Diego for the Holiday Bowl.

“Being a part of this family, this program and team -- you never forget it,” senior defensive lineman Greg Townsend Jr. said of playing for the Trojans.

Sophomore cornerback Adoree’ Jackson said he was “sad” because older players that helped guide him, particularly senior cornerback Kevon Seymour, are moving on.

“He’s like my big brother,” Jackson said of Seymour.

USC plays Wisconsin next Wednesday at Qualcomm Stadium.
