USC tight end Randall Telfer is starting to become more involved in the Trojans’ passing game.
After going two games without a reception, the fifth-year senior caught two passes for 35 yards in USC’s loss at Boston College in Game 3.
Last week, he caught two passes for 29 yards in the Trojans’ victory over Oregon State.
“It was cool to get the ball in my hands,” Telfer said, “and feel like I contributed to the team.”
Telfer caught 26 passes, five for touchdowns, as a redshirt freshman in 2011.
He had 12 receptions in 2012, only six during an injury-plagued 2013 season.
Telfer and freshman Bryce Dixon have combined for eight catches.
USC plays Arizona State on Saturday at the Coliseum.
