Mark Kellam is city editor of the Glendale News-Press and Burbank Leader. He joined Times Community News in July 2011 as the business-politics reporter and was promoted to city editor in January 2013. Previously, he was an editor at the Los Angeles Daily News and managing editor at Champion Newspapers in Chino, Calif. Reimagined ‘Alice in Wonderland’ playing at Glendale Centre Theatre

Carter Thomas, a 2018 Crescenta Valley High graduate, frequent local performer and an actor who has landed roles in national tours, is helming a new, updated musical version of “Alice in Wonderland,” which he wrote and and directed, and it will be performed at the Glendale Centre Theatre.

Military exercises being held at Hollywood Burbank Airport

During the exercise, participants will be in military uniforms actively loading and un-loading military aircraft with engines running. While the activities may appear realistic, the public should be notified that it is not an active emergency, but only an exercise, according to airport officials.
