Travel+Leisure ranks Baltimore among quirkiest cities in America

Michelle Deal-Zimmerman came to The Baltimore Sun more than 10 years ago after launching her career at The Palm Beach Post in West Palm Beach, Fla. At The Sun, she spent several years as a design editor and then as assistant managing editor for design and graphics. She became a section editor in 2006 and since then has overseen coverage of a variety of topics, including travel, fashion, real estate and home. A native of South Florida, Michelle has traveled a lot farther north than she ever expected.
