If wanderlust is on your list of resolutions this year, it’s time to take action. From booking flights and hotels to reserving excursions and restaurants, the process can involve months of planning.

Grenada

Untouched by the hurricanes of 2017, Grenada has also remained somewhat untouched by tourism, compared with many other Caribbean islands. This means serene, quiet beaches and preserved rain forests. Hop on one of the 33 cruise ships that call the island a port of call, or take advantage of JetBlue’s daily service from New York City.

Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo together make for a top area for beaches, resorts and nightlife. Stay around the popular Tourist Corridor, where a slew of new hotels and other amenities are on their way.

Marrakesh’s streets and galleries are home to a vibrant African-art scene, drawing names like Yves Saint Laurent and Mick Jagger. Most recently, the art scene has reached a new level with the opening of the geometric-shaped YSL Museum and the 1:54 Contemporary African Art Fair.
