Nothing showcases the earth’s majesty like waterfalls. Sometimes you have to take a plane, train or boat to get to them, but the sites are something to behold. Check out some of the world’s most awe-inspiring waterfalls, according to Travel + Leisure.

Iguazu Falls, Argentina

This waterfall straddles the border of Brazil and Argentina and is located in the Iguazu National Park in Parana. With 275 individual terraced falls, this waterfall is massive. The Iguazu falls is a finalist to be one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.

Gullfoss, Iceland

Along the Hvita River, Gullfoss or “Golden Falls,” is considered Iceland’s most preeminent waterfall, and one of its most popular attractions. It’s fed by Iceland’s second largest glacier, the Langjökull.
