Florida Trail winds about 1,300 miles from Big Cypress National Preserve near Florida’s southern tip to Fort Pickens near Pensacola. In Central Florida, it splits near Kenansville at Three Lakes Wildlife Area into the Eastern Connector and Western Connector. The eastern branch heads north through Forever Florida, Bull Creek Wildlife Management Area, Tosohatchee Wildlife Management Area, Orlando Wetlands Park, Spring Hammock Preserve, Lower Wekiva Preserve State Park and Seminole State Forest. The western branch is mostly along roads for now.
