Tour China’s biggest cities for $1,399, including airfare and hotels
If you want to see China at a low price, World Spree offers a 10-night trip to Beijing, Xian and Shanghai starting at $1,399 per person, including airfare, lodging and guided tours.
The deal: World Spree calls this its Middle Kingdom Tour. The price, based on double occupancy, includes round-trip airfare from L.A. or San Francisco, transportation within China, hotels, some meals, sightseeing tours and entrance fees, English-speaking guides and baggage handling.
When: Tours depart March 4 and Nov. 4 and 11. (It’s offered year-round at slightly higher prices.)
Details: You can’t beat the cost of this tour that takes your to Beijing, including the Great Wall and the Forbidden City as well as the Bird’s Nest Olympic stadium; Xian, to see the terracotta warriors; and Shanghai. You can sign on for optional trips to places such as Hangzhou and Suzhou for less than $100 per person.
