Cruise the Med and cook with French chef Jacques Pepin
If food is a big part of your travel world, think about spending 10 days with Jacques Pepin on a cruise. The French chef will appear aboard Oceania Cruises’ Marina next year for a tour of the Mediterranean and a chance to talk about what he loves most: cooking.
Pepin will autograph cookbooks, schmooze with guests and lead a cooking demonstration during the trip from Venice to Rome.
Passengers will be treated to special menus with items inspired by Pepin, and may take classes in the Culinary Center, the hands-on cooking school on board Marina. Guests also may opt for customized food excursions on shore.
Oceania has had an ongoing relationship with Pepin, who serves as the line’s executive culinary director. Two of its ships feature his signature style in on-board French bistros named Jacques.
The cruise sails Nov. 1, 2016. Stops include Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, southern Italy, Greece and Malta.
Prices start at $3,899 per person, double occupancy.
