Bloggers report from the road via Travelblog.org

It was this post on www.Travelblog.org that stopped me: “Last month Nastassia was involved in a fatal bus accident while traveling in Bolivia.”

What’s hot: The site is an aggregation of real travelers (many young) writing about where they’ve gone, stayed and eaten, and what they have seen and done. You’ll find recommendations, but they are buried in long-winded posts, and some tragic tales like Nastassia’s as well as stories of love affairs. It has photos and videos, many amateurish but some engrossing, like Dantheman’s “A Day in Kyoto,” which is set to music by Duran Duran.

What’s not: Who says the Web is not for the long-winded? And beware of some foul language.
