Hang 10 in Oahu with a summertime deal at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa that celebrates the June 8 opening of the animated penguin surf comedy “Surf’s Up.”

The deal: Stay in Waikiki in a garden room at the resort for $229 a night. The package, available now through Sept. 30, includes a 20% discount on surf lessons for two and a 20% discount on spa treatments. No minimum stay is required. The special is based on availability (meaning mid-June through mid-August rates are likely to be higher) and does not include tax.

The hotel: The Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa is on 22 oceanfront acres and features gardens, waterfalls and exotic wildlife, including penguins — the theme of “Surf’s Up.” The resort has more than 20 restaurants and lounges, shopping, recreational and cultural activities and nightly entertainment.
