Vegas: PartyScape at four hotels comes with discounts, pub crawl

Party without the planning? That’s the idea behind the PartyScape Package in Las Vegas at the Monte Carlo, New York-New York, Luxor and Excalibur hotels and casinos. Save up to 15% on rooms, score free drinks and a T-shirt with a pub crawl card, and receive discounts on restaurants, bars, spa treatments and other extras.

The deal: The package at each hotel comes with extras that vary from hotel to hotel.

At the Monte Carlo, the package includes 20% off a spa treatment, 20% discount at two restaurants (Dragon Noodle Co. & Sushi Bar and d. vino Italian Food & Wine Bar); a free appetizer with an entree at Brand restaurant; and half-price beer at the Pub during Dueling Pianos. Check prices and extras at other venues.

The card: The pub crawl card lists 12 venues that offer rewards as you complete “the crawl.” Buy a drink at three bars, you get a free Jell-o shot; eight venues, score a free PartyScape 2011 T-shirt.

When: The offer is good for stays through Feb. 28, with some blackout dates.

Tested: I checked online and found the package available at the Monte Carlo for a low midweek price of $39 a night plus tax on Nov. 21, 22, 28, 29 and 30. (Add $16.80 a night for the resort fee.) It’s easy to use the website’s availability calendar to make sure you get the lowest price for this deal. That said, room rates usually are highest on weekends, so plan accordingly if you want to keep it cheap.

The Monte Carlo room on the same nights without the package costs $46. So you save a little on the room but more with the spa, restaurant and beer discounts -- provided you use them.
