Easter brunch in the Backyard for $20.12 at W Westwood

Easter egg hunts in the land of extreme wows? W Westwood goes egg-centric Sunday during brunch at the hotel’s outdoor Backyard restaurant. Prices on Easter start at $20.12 a person -- and the kiddie egg hunts are free.
The deal: “Top Chef” alum Dakota Weiss, executive chef at the Backyard, drives the creative offerings at this brunch, which features passion fruit, lemon drop and wild berry scones; Gaelen’s waffle sandwich (smoked ham, Gruyere cheese, three fried eggs); brioche French toast; wild mushroom mac n’ cheese; and sliders stuffed with lobster and brie. There’s more too, so check out the brunch menu before you go.
Easter egg hunts come with the meal at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. An additional $20.12 per person gets you endless Bloody Marys, mimosas and sparkling wine or a bottle of wine.
When: The offer is good from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday.
Details: I chose this deal because holiday dining at restaurants often can be steep, and $20 a person (without drinks) sounds reasonable for the number of food choices and something for the kids to do. (The hunts feature plastic eggs with sweets inside.) Reservations are a must, either by calling or going to the website.
