Your Scene: Reel-good time in California

In June, Steve Mecham was visiting family in Magalia, Calif., about 90 miles north of Sacramento. As he walked around nearby Paradise Lake with his nephew on Father’s Day, Mecham saw what appeared to be a father fishing with his family. “Beautiful,” he said.
