Fans of the Mt. Baldy ski resort will enjoy getting a post-holiday break on the price of lift tickets. For $29, skiers and boarders can spend the day on the slopes in this Angeles National Forest resort just above Baldy Village.

The deal: Travelzoo is selling vouchers for daylong lift tickets for $29 each, a considerable savings off the usual price (see below). It’s good for this season only, which is estimated to last as long as April 28. Buy the voucher at Travelzoo’s website, activate it, print it out and you’re good to go. Blackout dates are Christmas Day to Jan. 1.

Travelzoo has a second offer too. For $39, you can buy a lift ticket that comes with a $15 credit for lunch at the Top of the Notch, which is valued at $84. The restaurant has been renovated in the last few years with a food upgrade and a bar instead of the old cafeteria-style service.

When: The offer is good until 11:59 PST on Dec. 31.

Details: Daylong lift tickets usually cost $69 for adults, so this is a good discount for those who treasure the small ski area just an hour east of downtown Los Angeles.
