Colorado: Kids ski free with a two-night stay at Keystone resort
- Share via
Keystone ski resort is revving up for winter, even though the slopes don’t open until next month. The resort about 90 minutes west of Denver is offering free lift tickets to children whose parents stay at least two nights in a resort property.
The deal: The Kids Ski Free offer is good for children 12 and younger for the entire ski season; no blackout dates or restrictions apply. Guests must reserve a two-night stay at one of the resort properties to receive the free lift tickets.
When: The offer is good from opening date (scheduled for Nov. 2) to season’s end.
Tested: I found availability Jan. 11-13 at a one-bedroom condo at Aspen Ridge Condominiums for $195 a night and at Keystone Lodge & Spa for $215 a night; prices don’t include tax. There are lots of properties to choose from -- some ski-in ski-out or within walking distance, others on the shuttle route.
As for savings, a two-day lift ticket at that time of year would cost $108 per child. (A two-day adult pass is $178.) Guests pick up tickets when they check in.
