All-inclusive vacation giant Club Med wants you to be happy, or so it says in a new Happiness Sale that launched Thursday. The sale is good for stays through fall at its 50-plus locations worldwide, including premium resorts in Guilin, China, and Belek, Turkey.

The deal: Club Med shows prices starting as low as $749 per person for a seven-night stay, but that’s based on staying at its Sandpiper Bay resort in Florida. Still, there are savings to be had from the online check I did of several locations around the globe.

I like this sale because it applies to trips as short as a three-day getaway to Mexico or as long as a week in China. The price covers food, activities, accommodations and other events. And here’s a news flash for families: Children younger than 4 stay free starting April 27.

When: The sale is on until May 7 for selected stays now through Oct. 23, based on availability.

Tested: I checked on availability for a three-night stay starting April 22 at Club Med locations in Mexico. I found prices based on double occupancy of $436 per person at Ixtapa Pacific and $531 per person at Cancun Yucatan. Club Med’s website shows savings of $208 and $342 per person, respectively.

In the Caribbean, I found availability for a weeklong stay starting April 22 at the Turkoise site in Turks and Caicos for $1,130 per person (double occupancy), with a savings of $599 each. And a weeklong stay at the Guilin resort in China starting July 28 costs $1,710 instead of $2,108 per person (double occupancy).
