COLORADO RIVER

Presentation

Adventure traveler Bryan Brown will share his story about completing the first solo, unsupported descent of the entire 2,400-mile Colorado River watershed in September 2013.

CULTURAL HISTORY

Field class

Participants will see Native Peoples’ rock carvings and paintings in their original settings and learn about their places of habitation.

When, where: 8 a.m.-6 p.m., Feb. 23 at Pilot Travel Center, North Palm Springs. This class will carpool from the Coachella Valley to Corn Springs in the Salton Sea area and end in Idlyllwild.
